3 FREE events to attend in London this summer ~ 1:30 min read

A wise man once said: “No money – no funny”! 💸 Well, there’s always somebody wiser waiting around the corner! Here are 3 FREE things to do till the end of August in London.

Free Beer Tasting

You know when they say there is no full happyness? Well, there is here. Not only you will have a free beer but there’s stuff for kids to do, so if you are a parent then you don’t need to worry about finding a babysitter to look after the little ones.
Make sure you book in advance, you know… just in case. Cheers!
Camden Town Brewery. Ponders End rail. Jul 29.

Missing the Playgrounds?

Have you ever wanted to do one last swing but being shy stops you? Have no fear, the solution is here!  Thankfully, London’s about to be blessed with a playground that’s strictly 18+ (not in a kinky way!). 9Nine is bringing jumbo slides and super-sized seesaws to London Fields for a weekend at the end of this month. It means a whole two days of playtime, with no five-year-olds around to judge you on your swinging technique and waiting for their turn.

Carnival Time!

Notting Hill Carnival

Finally, quite possibly London’s best free event, world’s biggest street festival Notting Hill Carnival returns as usual for the last weekend of August. The celebration of the Caribbean communities always fills west London with live reggae and salsa, soca floats, steel bands, parades and a whole lot of jerk chicken and fried plantain.

Multiple venues. Tube: Notting Hill Gate or Ladbroke Grove. Aug 27-28.

  1. Speaking of missing childhood, there will also be a giant inflatable obstacle course in Alexandra Palace on August Bank Holiday! It’s not free, but definitely worth a visit if you’re feeling like having an adventure filled day 🙂
